It really is an optimistic song, but also reminds me of all the songs I'd hear in summer as kid with the way its energy is presented. The style throughout the song changes while keeping the whole "feel good" energy to it, making it similar but also different. It works in its favor by making it feel like it has more variety rather than just making it feel boring.
You really did go out of your way to make this as positive as possible, and I can say that you succeeded well on doing it.
